"Michael Jai White attempts to keep his grumpy grandmother blissfully unaware of deadly home invasion of her remote country home in Jason Krawczyk’s gratuitously violent black comedy DON’T MESS WITH GRANDMA. When a trio of thieves attempt to break into the remote cabin home of an elderly woman, they are surprised to find her hulking former soldier of a grandson also in residence. Deciding it best to not alert Grandma to the attempted home invasion, JT, fortified with one-too-many glasses of rum, shoots, stabs, kicks, punches, breaks, beats and throws the hapless criminals around with surprising skill (and forty pounds of excess muscle) all the while keeping the old woman ignorant of the carnage around her by stealthily swiping her hearing aid. As the night wares on and the number of assailants steadily increases and the bodies start to pile up. JT realises that maybe there’s something in the house more valuable any of them realises."
