Kubo and the Two Strings

Young Kubo (Art Parkinson) lives high above a seaside village with his mother, making ends meet by telling tales of legendary battles with the aid of music and elaborate origami. Ignoring his mother's instruction to never stay out after dark, Kubo is pursued by two mysterious spectres before making a dramatic escape. Waking to find himself in the company of a talking guardian Monkey (Charlize Theron), Kubo sets off on a quest to overcome a mysterious family curse with the aid of his newfound protector and a forgetful warrior Beetle (Matthew McConaughey).
