Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, READY OR NOT is a guts-and-all romp that might make you rethink your future marriage plans. Samara Weaving (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) plays newlywed bride Grace, who just wants to feel a part of her new husband Alex’s (Mark O’Brien) family. However, the family are a wee bit tricky to break into: they insist on a strange wedding night ritual of a game of hide and seek at midnight. Quickly turning sinister when Grace realises it’s less whimsy and more straight up murder, she finds herself desperately trying to stay alive until dawn – and, surely, deeply regretting her nuptials.
