The hills are alive with the sound of music, and so too are the flats of Carlton – for one night at least! Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer in career-defining roles and THAT first shot; you know the drill. A soon-to-be nun, Maria (Andrews), becomes the governess for a large and lively family, the von Trapps, in the Austrian alps. Along the way, there’s singing, dancing, and a bit of sewing, and the children teach her as much as she teaches them – and, she finds romance in the form of their widowed father, Captain von Trapp (Plummer). A true classic.
