Dancing Against the Odds (Dir: Matt Byrne – 64m) In a stunning documentary accompanying the dance film Counterpoise, Dancing Against the Odds, we follow the making of the dance video; the highs and lows and the determination of all the artists to continue to collaborate to make great art, cross culturally. The documentary shows the dedication and tenacity of all involved. Through online technologies and face to face rehearsals, the creative team blurred the boundaries of separate identities, global challenges and cultural barriers to create a new dance work for screen. The short film ‘Counterpoise’ (20m) will play before the feature.
