Videodrome
RESTORATION! David Cronenberg's VIDEODROME is the director's chilling 1983 body horror exploring 'snuff film' culture during the decade's cable TV explosion. The unusual conspiracies, sadomasochism, and erotica of pirate-TV programme VIDEODROME lure in Max Renn (James Woods), the head of a Canadian television station looking for shows suitable for late-night viewers. As audiences start tuning in, deception, mind-control and acts of violence begin to intrude on Max’s reality.
