Determined to find a cure before a major outbreak occurs, she follows the trail to her hometown near Glenolden Station, where macabre events took place twenty years ago. But encountering a murderous sheep-worshipping cult, a tortured real estate developer with a dark and shameful secret, and a mysterious figure known only as The Shepherd, Oats finds herself trapped inside the frightening quarantine the locals call The Zone. There, she must confront the horrifying legacy of the past.
